Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski made an impressive debut in Misfits Boxing tonight as he landed another slugging stoppage in the fourth round.
Much was made of the monstrous age gap between Arlovski and his Netflix reality TV rival Kelechi ‘Kelz’ Dyke. He won his first interim UFC heavyweight belt a decade ago in 2005, when his opponent was just 11-years-old.
And that experience and power was evident from early on as he imposed his strength against an equally big man on the night. The fight was Arlovski’s third since leaving the UFC last year, having won his initial BKFC and Dirty Boxing matches by doctor’s stoppage.

Andrei Arlovski flew out of the traps looking for the finish early, and Kelz looked impressive in his abilities to stifle his much more experienced rival’s work. The Brit made it to round two and even almost forced his opponent to go back to his MMA grappling roots.
However, Arlovski landed a big clean right hand later in the round and snuck the sequence, although fans will have been concerned at his inability to put away a much less experienced opponent. The bout ended up getting to the fourth, although Kelz was clearly buzzed at the end of the third.
And with just over a minute on the clock, Arlovski blasted out Kelz with a big right hand that sent the Brit down instantly. The former UFC champion had claimed he was pushing for a knockout bonus, but he might have lost on that to fan favorite BDave who brutalized Rod Stewart’s son earlier in the night.
After the fact, Arlovski called for a fight with a ‘famous YouTuber’, although didn’t name any one specific person.
