Snoop Dogg will host the halftime show for the Christmas Day game between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings on Netflix, the streaming giant announced Tuesday.
The game will air from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis at 4:30 p.m. ET and feature “Snoop Dogg’s Holiday Halftime Party.”
This Christmas, Netflix holds the rights to two NFL games, with the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys kicking off the slate at 1 p.m. ET.
“NFL, Netflix and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We’re servin’ up music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy,” Snoop said in a statement. “That’s the kind of holiday magic Santa can’t fit in a bag.”

Last season, Netflix made its NFL debut with two Christmas Day games — the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens against the Houston Texans. Beyoncé performed at halftime of the second game, drawing 27 million viewers, according to Netflix.
Snoop’s stardom in the sports world continues to grow, as Team USA recently named him its first-ever honorary coach for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics. The honor comes after he attended numerous events at the 2024 Paris Olympics, cheering on Team USA. His adventures included NBC studio appearances and a swimming lesson with Michael Phelps.
Snoop performed at the 2028 L.A. Olympics handover ceremony in Paris alongside Dr. Dre.
Christmas Day will mark Snoop’s second NFL halftime performance in recent years. He was part of the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in his hometown of Los Angeles, sharing the stage with L.A. legends Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige, among others.
