The fantasy basketball season continues to move quickly, and Week 10 offers another important opportunity for managers to strengthen roster depth through fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups. Managing injuries, targeting short-term production or getting ahead of a potential breakout can all pay off, and staying proactive at this point in the season can create a meaningful edge.

Below are players to consider across the following roster-percentage tiers:

    50-60%
    30-49%
    15-29%
    0-14%

Each team’s upcoming schedule is also included to help identify strong streaming options and maximize weekly lineup decisions. With that in mind, here’s a closer look at the Week 10 fantasy basketball waiver wire, beginning with the schedule.

    Five games:

CLE, DAL, DEN, IND, NOP, OKC, ORL, POR

    Four games:

ATL, CHA, CHI, DET, GSW, HOU, MEM, MIA, MIL, MIN, NYK, PHX, SAS, TOR, UTH, WAS

    Three games:

BOS, BKN, LAC, LAL, PHI, SAC

    Rostered in 50-60% of Leagues

Jabari Smith Jr. (PF, C – HOU)

Jabari Smith Jr. has put together an excellent December, averaging 16.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 37.9 minutes per game. He has also recorded a double-double in four straight contests, highlighting his consistency and growing role in the rotation.

Smith should be added if available, regardless of league size, as he has proven he can produce reliably, even with the Houston Rockets’ deep and talented starting lineup.

    Rostered in 30-49% of Leagues

Saddiq Bey (SF, PF – NOP)

The New Orleans Pelicans have started getting healthy and are currently riding a four-game winning streak. Saddiq Bey continues to see consistent minutes and produce at a high level. Over the streak, he is averaging 18 points, seven rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.1 minutes per game, providing reliable production across multiple categories.

With Herbert Jones suffering a head injury in Saturday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, Bey’s minutes could increase further if Jones is forced to miss time, making him an even more valuable option for fantasy managers.

    Rostered in 15-29% of Leagues

    Dennis Schroder (PG – SAC)

Dennis Schroder missed several weeks in late November and December due to a hip injury, but has now returned and looked solid in three games. Over that span, he is averaging 11.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and four assists across 21 minutes per game. While those numbers may not immediately grab the attention of waiver wire hunters, his recent workload is more promising.

Schroder logged 31 minutes in Saturday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers, posting 21 points, five rebounds, six assists and one steal. With a few games now under his belt and Zach LaVine (ankle) sidelined, Schroder could continue to see an increase in minutes, making him a viable option for short-term production.

    Cam Spencer (SG – MEM)

Cam Spencer has continued to capitalize on increased opportunities in December as the Memphis Grizzlies navigate numerous backcourt injuries. Over six games, he is averaging 19.3 points, three rebounds, 6.7 assists and one steal per contest, showing his ability to contribute across multiple categories.

Spencer remains worth rostering in starting lineups while Ja Morant (ankle) remains sidelined, regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench. His consistent production and expanded role make him a valuable short-term option for fantasy managers.

Wendell Carter Jr. (C – ORL)

Wendell Carter Jr. has been extremely consistent all season, earning multiple mentions in previous weekly waiver wire articles. He makes another appearance this week, not only because the Orlando Magic have five games on the schedule, but also due to his strong recent performance. Over his last four games, Carter is averaging 17 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 steals and one block per game.

With the Magic dealing with multiple injuries, Carter should continue to see ample opportunities to fill the stat sheet in the coming week. His steady production makes him a valuable pickup for managers looking to maximize contributions across categories.

    Rostered in 0-14% of Leagues

    Maxime Raynaud (C – SAC)

With Domantas Sabonis (knee) and Drew Eubanks (thumb) sidelined, Maxime Raynaud has taken full advantage of the increased opportunity in the frontcourt. Over his last four games, he is averaging 14 points, 8.5 rebounds and one steal in 30.1 minutes per game, emerging as a reliable contributor with a clear path to consistent playing time.

Raynaud is producing at a high level and should continue to see heavy usage over the next couple of weeks. Neither Sabonis nor Eubanks is expected to return until mid-January, making Raynaud a strong short-term option while his expanded role remains intact.

Jake LaRavia (SF, PF – LAL)

Luka Doncic suffered a leg injury on Saturday, and with Rui Hachimura (groin) and Austin Reaves (calf) also dealing with injuries, Jake LaRavia is in line for extended minutes if any of them are forced to miss time. He has averaged 28.9 minutes over his last three games, taking advantage of the increased opportunity in the rotation.

During that stretch, LaRavia is averaging 10 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He shapes up as an excellent short-term option in deeper formats and is also worth holding onto in dynasty leagues if still available, as he has consistently shown what he can produce when given extended minutes.

    Kris Dunn (PG – LAC)

Kris Dunn is someone to consider in deeper leagues for managers seeking steady, low-variance production. He has carved out a consistent role in the starting lineup due to his defensive impact, which has helped stabilize his minutes. Dunn has averaged 27.4 minutes across eight games in December, providing modest but reliable contributions across multiple categories.

During that stretch, he is averaging 9.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, four assists and 1.4 steals per game. While those numbers are not eye-popping, the combination of playing time, defensive stats and a clearly defined role makes Dunn a useful option for depth in deeper formats.
