Phil Naessens breaks down his favorite Rams vs. Falcons anytime touchdown picks ahead of Week 17’s Monday Night Football matchup.

The Week 17 curtain-closer features a high-stakes clash under the lights of Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the 11-4 Los Angeles Rams look to solidify their postseason seeding against a resilient Atlanta Falcons squad.
While the Falcons are officially out of the playoff hunt, don’t expect them to roll over, especially with the added spice of the Rams owning Atlanta’s 2026 first-round pick. Playing on the fast track of a dome typically spells fireworks for high-octane offenses, and with a healthy 49.5-point total on the board, the scoreboard operator should stay busy.
My Rams vs. Falcons anytime touchdown picks are zeroing in on two red-hot targets who have been feasting lately.
Read on for my best NFL picks for Monday, December 29.
Rams anytime touchdown pick
Puka Nacua (-160 at bet365)
The Atlanta Falcons’ secondary is walking into a nightmare MNF matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
With Mike Hughes likely out again, the Falcons are thin behind A.J. Terrell, leaving a rookie (Cobee Bryant) and a street pickup (C.J. Henderson) to help cover the league’s most productive receiver.
Puka Nacua leads the NFL in catches and receiving yards, just posted a 225-yard, two-touchdown game, and has cleared 100 receiving yards in three straight games.
Atlanta is already surrendering 1.6 passing touchdowns per game before the Rams come to town, and with Matthew Stafford playing in a dome, and without Davante Adams, Nacua is a good bet to find MNF paint.
Falcons anytime touchdown pick
Kyle Pitts Sr. (+275 at bet365)
Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. is peaking at the right time.
The elder Pitts has recorded six or more catches in four straight games and has been far more involved in passing plays with Kirk Cousins under center.
His 395 receiving yards over the past four games are the most ever by a Falcons tight end in a four-game stretch, and he’s already set career highs in both receptions and touchdowns.
Against a Rams defense that’s league-average against the pass and susceptible to tight ends between the numbers, and possibly without Drake London, Pitts poses the best red-zone mismatch.
Pitts has scored four touchdowns in his previous two games, and we’re getting an excellent price on him scoring an anytime MNF touchdown.
