The Oklahoma Sooners blew out the North Carolina Tar Heels to win their first College World Series since 1994.

The 2026 College World Series odds came down to a winner-take-all Game 3 between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Oklahoma Sooners. In the end, the Sooners blew out the Tar Heels, 13-2, to win their first D1 title since 1994.

UNC doesn’t lack for star power, with Jake Schaffner, Ryan Lynch, and Jason DeCaro all on the roster. That offense put up six runs in Game 2, and the bats will look to stay hot tonight.

The Oklahoma Sooners rolled over the Georgia Bulldogs to get here for the fourth time in program history
