Justin Bernard will be serving as the announcer for a UFC Fight Night for a second time next month.
Bruce Buffer isn’t immune to the occasional mistake but his iconic voice will always be a staple of the leading MMA promotion’s events.
However, the veteran voice of the Octagon can’t be at every show, meaning that the UFC has several other announcers to alternate.
Earlier this month, Bernard got the opportunity to announce a Fight Night event for the first time, but he didn’t have to wait much longer in order to receive a second shot.

Justin Bernard set to serve as Octagon announcer for UFC Abu Dhabi next month
On the night that Gabriel Bonfim secured a big win over Belal Muhammad at the Meta Apex, Justin Bernard announced his first UFC Fight Night event.
The announcer for shows like Dana White’s Contender Series and UFC BJJ revealed to Bloody Elbow in a recent interview that he’s already received his second Fight Night assignment.
He’ll be standing in the cage to introduce the fighters when Magomed Ankalaev faces Khalil Rountree Jr. in the main event of UFC Abu Dhabi on July 25.

Bernard is certainly no stranger to the UFC setup, but he’s also very familiar with one half of the main event that is set for Abu Dhabi.
Rountree Jr.’s amateur career saw him secure five consecutive wins in Tuff-N-Uff to become the promotion’s amateur middleweight champion.
Having been the announcer for those fights, Bernard told Bloody Elbow that he’s looking forward to a full-circle reunion with the former light heavyweight title challenger.
“I’m super excited… With Khalil, Khalil and I have history going back to Tuff-N-Uff,” he explained. “I had the opportunity to introduce him as an amateur through his whole run with Tuff-N-Uff and to finally get to introduce him in the UFC is insane. I don’t know if he knows about it. I’ll probably have to text him and give him a heads up so he’s not surprised when he sees me in there.”
