A bad night turned into pure disaster for one undercard fighter on Jon Jones’ latest Dirty Boxing Championship event.

The early prelims saw middleweight veteran Sean Hotusing return to the Dirty Boxing ring after an upset win in his debut on their first show back in March. However, things didn’t go his way as Dustin Bailey knocked him out in the second round with a massive overhand.

However, he wasn’t finished fighting just yet as he appeared to punch a member of ringside security, which resulted in him being taken down. It kicked off a mass brawl at ringside in a moment that has gone viral on social media.

The night started off with excitement as the entire early prelim card ended with knockouts at the Hangar in Miami. However, fans weren’t expecting to see a fight outside of the ring, particularly not after one of the most brutal knockouts of the show.

After Bailey’s thudding knockout of Hotusing, the winner was giving an interview to Jason Anik when all hell broke loose on the apron. It seemed from replays that the fighter who had just been knocked out punched a security guard, leading to him being taken down and a brawl starting.

Hotusing had literally been left crawling out of the ring by Bailey, but was looking for another fight shortly afterwards. The incident went viral on social media, garnering hundreds of thousands of views within hours.

Jon Jones debuted new belt for Dirty Boxing Championship yesterday

It’s been a big week for DBX, as Jon Jones and Mike Perry were on hand to debut the new world title belt for the promotion at ceremonial weigh-ins. The belt is a large square shape, and looks nothing like any other strap around on major shows.

However, not all fans were impressed and it led to a divided reaction online. MMA’s greatest-ever fighter wrapped the belt around the waist of Perry, who lifted both of his hands into the air to celebrate as Jones gave an approving nod while eyeing the title.

Fans slammed the belt on social media with one branding it “The worst belt design I’ve ever seen.”
