Every NFL season delivers its share of jaw-dropping stats, but there’s something different about a true milestone.

The round numbers. The legacy implications. The creeping sense that you’re watching history, not just highlights. Whether it’s a Hall of Fame lock inching toward immortality or a quietly consistent vet finally joining an elite club, these moments matter – and we’re tracking every one of them.

This page is your all-in-one hub for the NFL’s most meaningful career chases. From Travis Kelce’s march toward 13,000 receiving yards to Aaron Rodgers’ race up the all-time passing yards list, we’ll keep you updated weekly with who’s on the cusp, how far they have to go, and when they might get there. No fluff, no filler – just the stuff that ends up in Canton.

We’ll update this tracker regularly as new data rolls in. Whether you’re a die-hard stathead, a legacy chaser, or just want to know when your favorite player is about to enter the record books, this is the space to watch.

    All-Time NFL Passing Yards List

    (Active players in bold)

    Rank Name Yards Career
    1 Tom Brady 89,214 2000-22
    2 Drew Brees 80,358 2001-20
    3 Peyton Manning 71,940 1998-2015
    4 Brett Favre 71,838 1991-2010
    5 Ben Roethlisberger 64,088 2004-21
    6 Aaron Rodgers 63,973 2005-25
    7 Philip Rivers 63,440 2004-20
    8 Matt Ryan 62,792 2008-22
    9 Matthew Stafford 61,493 2009-25
    10 Dan Marino 61,361 1983-99

Stats current through Oct. 14, 2025

Aaron Rodgers began the 2025 season with 62,952 yards, placing him seventh on the NFL’s all-time passing list. He passed Philip Rivers (63,440 yards) for the sixth spot on Sept. 21 against the New England Patriots and is poised to climb past Ben Roethlisberger for fifth all-time when the Steelers face the Bengals on Thursday, Oct. 16. He needs only 116 yards to do so.

Rodgers still sits nearly 8,000 yards behind his former teammate, Brett Favre, for fourth all-time.

Matthew Stafford entered the 2025 season with 59,809 career passing yards, needing only 191 yards needed to reach the 60,000-yard milestone. In Week 6 against Baltimore, Stafford surpassed Dan Marino (61,361 yards) for the ninth spot on the leaderboard. He has a strong shot at moving past Matt Ryan (62,792) before the season ends, and if he continues his scorching pace in 2025 (he leads the league in passing yards through six weeks), he will threaten Rivers’ mark as well.

    Notable Passing Yards Milestones

    Name Milestone Needed Status
Russell Wilson 50,000 yards 3,079 yards 😭 Benched in NY
Joe Flacco 50,000 yards 3,269 yards ❌ Extremely unlikely
Andy Dalton 40,000 yards 442 yards 🎱 Ask again later?
    Jared Goff 40,000 yards 3,552 yards 🎯 He’s got a shot
Josh Allen 30,000 yards 2,169 yards ✅ Looking great
Baker Mayfield 30,000 yards 3,629 yards 📉 Virtually no chance

    All-Time NFL Passing Touchdowns List

    (Active players in bold)

    Rank Name Touchdowns Career
    1 Tom Brady 649 2000-22
    2 Drew Brees 571 2001-20
    3 Peyton Manning 539 1998-2015
    4 Aaron Rodgers 513 2005-25
    5 Brett Favre 508 1991-2010
    6 Philip Rivers 421 2004-20
    7 Dan Marino 420 1983-99
    8 Ben Roethlisberger 418 2004-21
    9 Matthew Stafford 389 2009-25
    10 Matt Ryan 381 2008-22

Stats current through Oct. 14, 2025

Aaron Rodgers entered the season with 503 career touchdown passes, just five behind Brett Favre for fourth all-time. It didn’t take long for Rodgers to make history; his touchdown pass to DK Metcalf against the Patriots in Week 3 gave him 509 for his career. Through six weeks in 2025, Rodgers sits at 513 TDs, with an outside chance of catching Peyton Manning for third all-time.

Matthew Stafford currently ranks ninth all-time with 389 touchdown passes after passing Matt Ryan early during the 2025 season. Stafford is only 30 away from overtaking Ben Roethlisberger; if he plays a full 2025 campaign in L.A., jumping to at least eighth all-time is realistic. He has 12 touchdowns through six weeks, so he would need to average 2.72 TD passes per game to get there.

    Notable Passing Touchdowns Milestones

    Name Milestone Needed Status
Matthew Stafford 400 TDs 11 TDs 🔒 A lock if healthy
Kirk Cousins 300 TDs 12 TDs  ❓Will he start again
Jared Goff 250 TDs 14 TDs 🦁 On his way
Dak Prescott 250 TDs 24 TDs 🔥 On fire in 2025
Baker Mayfield 200 TDs 17 TDs 💪 Loving his chances
Lamar Jackson 200 TDs 26 TDs 🤕 Maybe next year

    3 Frank Gore 16,000 2005-20
    4 Barrry Sanders 15,269 1989-98
    5 Adrian Peterson 14,918 2007-21
    6 Curtis Martin 14,101 1995-2005
    7 LaDainian Tomlinson 13,684 2001-11
    8 Jerome Bettis 13,662 1993-2005
    9 Eric Dickerson 13,259 1983-93
    10 Tony Dorsett 12,739 1977-88
    17 Derrick Henry 11,862 2016-25

Stats current through Oct. 14, 2025

Henry entered 2025 with 11,423 career rushing yards, sitting at 19th on the NFL’s all-time list. He exploded for 169 yards against the Bills in Week 1, but the absence of an injured Lamar Jackson cooled off Henry and the Ravens offense. He sat with 439 yards through Week 6 and needs only 878 yards to pass Tony Dorsett and crack the top 10 on the all-time rushing list.

Getting there would leave him within striking range of the next four names on the list, too. With Jackson’s return looming, it isn’t a question of if Henry makes history – it’s how high he can climb before it’s over.

    Notable Rushing Yards Milestones

    Name Milestone Needed Status
Derrick Henry 12,000 yards 138 yards 🔋 Plenty in the tank
Saquon Barkley 8,000 yards 459 yards 💨 Why stop at 8K?
Joe Mixon 8,000 yards 572 yards 🏥 When will he play?
Josh Jacobs 8,000 yards 767 yards 🛣️ Has a clear path
Christian McCaffrey 7,000 yards 277 yards ⭐ Still elite
Jonathan Taylor 7,000 yards 384 yards 🐎 Can’t be stopped

    2 LaDainian Tomlinson 145 2001-11
    3 Marcus Allen 123 1982-97
    4 Adrian Peterson 120 2007-21

    T5 Derrick Henry 110 2016-25
    6 Jim Brown 106 1957-65

    T9 Shaun Alexander 100 2000-08
    T9 Marshall Faulk 100 1994-2005

Stats current through Oct. 14, 2025

Derrick Henry is entering GOAT territory. He began 2025 tied with Jim Brown for sixth all-time in rushing touchdowns (106), and after six weeks he is tied with Walter Payton for fifth all-time – a historic perch alongside one of the game’s true icons. He has already cemented his legacy as one of the most dominant power backs the league has ever seen, and he still seems to have more in the tank.

    10 Reggie Wayne 14,345 2001-14
    19 DeAndre Hopkins 13,143 2013-25

Stats current through Oct. 14, 2025

DeAndre Hopkins entered 2025 with 12,965 career receiving yards, sitting just outside the top 20 all-time – but that didn’t last long. Through Week 6, he is at 13,143 yards (19th place) — 1,203 from surpassing Reggie Wayne for 10th on the career list. While his days as a WR1 are behind him, Hopkins remains a reliable red-zone and possession threat for the Ravens, and another couple productive seasons could vault him into elite historical company.

    Notable Receiving Yards Milestones

    Name Milestone Needed Status
DeAndre Hopkins 14,000 yards 857 yards 💪 Does he have enough?
Mike Evans 13,000 yards 176 yards 🚀 Returning soon

Stefon Diggs 11,000 yards 122 yards  📅 Ahead of schedule?
Brandin Cooks 10,000 yards 344 yards 🎢 Expect a wild ride
