GARY O’NEIL has withdrawn from the race to become Wolves boss after holding shock talks to return to the club.
The Black Country club is on the lookout for a new manager after handing Vitor Pereira his P45 on Sunday.

The Wolves brass are moving quickly to try to replace the sacked Portuguese gaffer and have sensationally sounded out O’Neil about a shock return to Molineux.
But the 42-year has reportedly pulled out of the race to take charge of the Molineux club.
That’s according to The Athletic, who claims the former Wolves midfielder believes the opportunity isn’t “right for him” at this moment in time.
