The Dallas Cowboys ruled out wide receiver CeeDee Lamb with a concussion early in the third quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Detroit Lions.
Lamb suffered the injury on an incomplete pass from quarterback Dak Prescott in the end zone on first-and-10. He jumped up to catch the ball as the Lions’ Amik Robertson defended him, and Lamb fell hard on his head and shoulders. He raised his hands in frustration over the dropped pass and then rolled on his right side.
Cowboys trainers came out to tend to Lamb before escorting him to the medical tent. Shortly after that, he went to the Dallas locker room and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
The Cowboys later scored on the drive when Javonte Williams punched in a 1-yard score for the team’s first touchdown of the night. Lamb finished the night with six receptions for 121 yards.
