The World Cup betting board can change fast, especially once lineups are confirmed, and matches get underway. This page highlights our World Cup best bets, covering both match picks and futures.

All of our World Cup picks are selected for a specific reason, whether it’s a matchup edge, usage trend, or price that hasn’t fully adjusted yet.

World Cup best bets for June 11

    Updated daily with current odds.

Mexico vs South Africa: Under 2.5 goals (-110)

Opening group-stage matches tend to be cautious, and this one sets up the same way. Mexico has leaned defensive lately, averaging just 1.08 expected goals across its last six matches and playing to the under in four of its last five, while South Africa will be focused on tightening up after defensive issues at AFCON. With both sides aware that an early loss would put real pressure on qualification hopes, a controlled, low-scoring game makes sense.

    World Cup futures best bets

All futures listed below are Chris Vasile’s tournament-long picks.

    Spain Spain to win outright

    +450 at bet365

You can call me a square for taking the World Cup favorites to win the tournament six months before a ball is even kicked, but the draw has set up perfectly for them.

Topping a very winnable group gives them a path to the Finals that has little resistance until the semifinals (depending on how things play out around them), but this is still a team with depth, incredible talent, and a penchant for winning the big game.

USA USA to win Group D

    +125 at bet365

The United States couldn’t have asked for a more forgiving World Cup group. On paper, they possess the stronger squad compared to both Paraguay and Australia, and whoever emerges from UEFA Path C isn’t likely to shift that outlook.

Paraguay’s attack sputtered throughout qualifying — just 14 goals in 18 games — while Australia came through Asia behind Japan and recently fell to the U.S. in a friendly.

There’s still plenty of time before the tournament begins, but the early signs point to a favorable path for the Americans, and this line is almost guaranteed to shorten.

Netherlands Netherlands to win Group F

    -138 at bet365

While Japan may give them a good fight, the Netherlands are far and away the best team in this group. They can score goals with the best of teams, and defensively, they’ve been proven to be a tough team to break down.

I expect this line to shorten up well before the tournament gets underway, so jump on it now.

How we pick today’s World Cup best bets

Our World Cup best bets are driven by market value, not public sentiment. We evaluate matchup data, team tactics, expected lineups, and price movement across key markets. Bets are only added when the odds justify the risk, with a focus on repeatable edges rather than one-off results.

    World Cup Best Bets FAQ

World Cup best bets are reviewed and updated daily throughout the tournament. Picks can change as odds move, lineups are confirmed, and new matches are added to the board.

Whenever possible, bets are posted after lineup news is available. If a pick is shared before lineups are confirmed, it’s based on expected starters and typical usage, with updates made if circumstances change.

Yes. Futures odds adjust throughout the World Cup based on results, injuries, and projected paths to the knockout rounds. Prices can move significantly after each matchday, especially once teams advance or are eliminated.
