Most Valuable Promotions has plans in mind for Ronda Rousey if her upcoming fight isn’t her last.
Despite being inactive in MMA for ten years, Rousey believes she’s at her most dangerous heading into the Intuit Dome on May 16.
‘Rowdy’ has made it clear that she made the decision to come back largely due to the matchup with Gina Carano and the positive impact it would have on both of them.
Unless there’s the need to do a rematch, Rousey plans to hang up the gloves for good this weekend, though there is at least one other big fight left for her.

Nakisa Bidarian hopes to convince Ronda Rousey to keep fighting with prospect of Holly Holm rematch
Ronda Rousey has spoken about becoming MVP’s version of Dana White when looking ahead to how she’d like to continue working with the promotion.
While she’s stated that she’d have to clear this with her husband, one thing she knows he’d be completely against is the idea of her continuing to fight past May 16.
MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian was recently asked what he makes of ‘Rowdy’ planning for her upcoming main event on Netflix to be a one-and-done.
“I do believe her. I hope we can change her mind but I do believe her, yes,” Bidarian said on The Ariel Helwani Show before elaborating on what they’d have in store for her.
“I mean look, if she wins or Gina wins, we obviously promote Holly Holm and that would be a dream fight for us to see either of them fight Holly. But, it’s ultimately up to them. Fighters have to want to make the fight.”

After being granted her UFC release at the start of last year, Holm signed to MVP several months later in order to restart her boxing career.
She’s currently set to face Stephanie Han in a rematch for the WBA lightweight title on May 30 after their first bout ended early due to a cut.
Holm’s coach said in April that he’d love the Rousey rematch so that they can replicate her historic finish over Rousey to win the UFC bantamweight title.
