Jake Paul may have jumped the gun when teasing some news about MVP MMA.
In May, MVP’s first MMA event brought 17 million viewers to the first event of its kind to air live on streaming giant Netflix.
MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian was confident that the promotion would continue to put on MMA events if their first event achieved successful numbers.
His business partner has now posted on social media to confirm that they’re starting to put together a roster.

Jake Paul quickly deletes post that appears to confirm MVP MMA is signing fighters
Last week, Jake Paul reacted to the comparisons between MVP’s first MMA event and the UFC event that took place at the White House.
With the likes of Ronda Rousey returning to headline the first MVP MMA card, it wasn’t surprising to see Netflix record impressive viewership numbers.
The big question after the event was whether this means that Paul’s promotion will be continuing to offer some competition to the UFC.
A post from ‘The Problem Child’ that was deleted within a matter of minutes seemingly confirms that this is the case.
“MVP MMA first signing incoming,” he wrote on X on June 23.

Signing the kind of names that will be able to deliver huge numbers won’t be an easy task for MVP MMA despite how well their first event performed.
It has been suggested that Paul making his MMA debut could be the biggest option available to the promotion when looking at their options.
Nate Diaz pushing for a rematch with Mike Perry might create another potential path for MVP, though their first meeting was relatively one-sided.
