Ahead of the UFC’s new era with Paramount, fans are delighted after finding out about a new feature on the Fight Night broadcast.

On January 24, the UFC will host their first event of their new $7.7 billion broadcast deal with Paramount when they return to Las Vegas with UFC 324, headlined by Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje.

And since the promotion announced their new broadcast deal, fans have been excited to find out about anything new that may come with it.

Fans excited about new ‘multi-cam’ feature on Paramount broadcast

When the new broadcast deal was announced, fans instantly saw it as a win due to the fact that they will no longer be required to pay $79.99 PPV costs, and will only need a Paramount+ subscription.

And now just over a week out from the first event on the platform, fans seem to have discovered a widely requested feature that will be included on the broadcast.

On the Paramount+ app live schedule, the UFC 324 section includes a ‘multi-cam’ stream. And although it is currently unknown exactly how the feature will work, fans believe they will be able to toggle through different camera angles during the fights.

“Will be interesting, hope it’s good,” one fan commented on the feature.

“All I pray for is a no commentary option. Not that I hate it, I just love to watch it without sometimes,” another fan said.

“I remember the multi-cam view on Fight Pass when I used to have the app. I haven’t really seen any other app yet to do the same things Fight Pass had. It’ll be interesting to see how Paramount produces it,” said another fan.

“They need to have that camera angle from outside the cage, that picks up the atmosphere, no commentary,” another fan suggested.

UFC 324 takes huge hit as Kayla Harrison withdraws

Despite the growing excitement for the first Paramount+ event, the card has taken a massive hit this Wednesday.

The title fight co-main event between Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes is off due to a neck injury on the side of Harrison.

The bantamweight champion requires surgery, leading to her withdrawal.
