The UFC 325 weigh-ins have concluded and while one fight has been canned, the featherweight title rematch is locked in.
Alexander Volkaovski and Diego Lopes tipped the scales ahead of their second showdown in Sydney. Volkanovski, the reigning 145-pound titleholder, tipped the scales at 144.5 pounds. Lopes hit the championship weight target at 145 pounds.
The lightweight co-headliner is also official. Dan Hooker hit the 155-pound mark for his clash with Benoit Saint Denis, who clocked in at 155.75 pounds. Rafael Fiziev made weight at 155.5 pounds for his clash against Mauricio Ruffy, who was 155.25 pounds on weigh-in day.
A planned preliminary bout in the flyweight division has been canceled. Aaron Tau failed to make weight for his bout with Namsrai Batbayar. While Batbayar made weight at 126 pounds, Tau was over at 129 pounds. UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard broke the news that the fight was off during the official UFC weigh-in show.
