New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is listed as active for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night after suffering a fractured right pinkie last week.
Robinson was listed as questionable leading up to Wednesday’s matchup. He had surgery on the finger last week and practiced Tuesday with tape on the pinkie. He has not spoken with reporters since the injury was disclosed after Game 4 of the Knicks’ Eastern Conference finals sweep against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Robinson is averaging 5.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and shooting 30.2 percent from the foul line during the 2026 postseason. He would likely match up with the Spurs Defensive Player of the Year, Victor Wembanyama, and is a key role player off the bench, along with point guard Jose Alvarado and wing Landry Shamet.
Tipoff at Frost Bank Center is 8:30 p.m. ET.
