Undefeated light heavyweight contender Umar Dzambekov (12-0, 8 KOs) continues his rise on Friday, October 3, when he collides with heavy-handed Artem Brusov (13-1, 12 KOs) in the ten-round main event at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California.
The bout tops another Hollywood Fight Nights bill from Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions, broadcast live worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.
Tickets are now on sale, priced between $55 and $105, and can be purchased through the Chumash Casino Resort box office.
Loeffler praised the headliner, stating, “Umar Dzambekov continues to pass each test in grand style and has earned the position to be in the main event. Artem Brusov presents another very tough challenge on October 3.”
The promoter added that the undercard also features “some of the best young stars in boxing – Daniel ‘Chucky’ Barrera, Cain Sandoval, Roxy Verduzco, and Sadriddin Akhmedov,” across an eight-fight lineup.
Dzambekov vs Brusov
A Vienna-born southpaw now training with Marvin Somodio at the Wild Card Gym, Dzambekov returns for his third outing of 2025. He dominated former world title challenger Roamer Angulo in June after blasting out Sonny McEwen in the first round in April.
Brusov, originally from Tambor, Russia, comes off a first-round demolition of Wilson Santana in the Dominican Republic. October 3 marks his California debut and fifth fight on U.S. soil.
The Undercard
Daniel ‘Chucky’ Barrera (9-1-1, 4 KOs) faces Santa Ana veteran Mario Hernandez (13-6-1, 4 KOs) over eight rounds at super flyweight. Barrera decisioned Basilio Franco in June, while Hernandez upset unbeaten prospect Jesus Martinez earlier this summer.
Cain Sandoval (16-0, 14 KOs) continues his knockout streak in an eight-round super lightweight battle with Jino ‘The Silent Beast’ Rodrigo (13-5-2, 11 KOs) of the Philippines. Sandoval has already scored two stoppages in 2025, including Mark Bernaldez and Jonathan Jose Eniz.
Rising female star Roxy Verduzco (5-0, 1 KO) meets Mexican campaigner Perla ‘La Princesa’ Lomeli (7-5, 1 KO) in an eight-round super bantamweight contest. Verduzco has won three times this year, while Lomeli looks to rebound after an August defeat.
Sadriddin Akhmedov (15-0-1, 13 KOs) steps into a ten-rounder at super welterweight against Tijuana’s Edgardo ‘Zurdo’ Velazquez (16-2, 16 KOs). Akhmedov last drew with Elias Espadas, while Velazquez is aiming to rekindle his knockout streak.
Angel ‘Apocalipto’ Carrillo (5-0, 2 KOs) stays active in a six-round super bantamweight contest against an opponent to be confirmed.
The prelims on UFC Fight Pass YouTube include 19-year-old Diego Aviles Parra (4-0, 4 KOs) in the super flyweight division, and the pro debut of Mario Zamora in the super featherweight ranks.
Opponents will be announced shortly.
