The Giants’ banged up secondary appears to have caught a break heading into Sunday’s meeting with the Eagles.
Philly’s star WR A.J. Brown has officially been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
Brown seemed to be trending in this direction as he sat out the entire week, though head coach Nick Siriani said on Friday that there was a chance he could play without practicing.
The 28-year-old, however, has now been listed as out on on the Eagles’ injury report.
It’s been a bit of a down campaign for Brown to this point, but he was coming off a game in which he recorded a season-high 141 yards and two scores against the Vikings.
DeVonta Smith will now lead the way for the Eagles’ receiving room instead.
Former Giants Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) and Adoree Jackson (concussion) are also out.
Additionally, pass rusher Brandon Graham won’t suit up for Philly just yet after coming out of retirement.
