Two-time reigning regular season MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is still favored in the latest NBA Finals MVP odds, but Jalen Brunson has drawn closer with the Knicks advancing and OKC and San Antonio going to a Game 7.

Photo By – Reuters Connect. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (2) shoots while defended by San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (1) in the first quarter during Game 4 of the WCF.

The NBA Finals MVP odds are still Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s for the taking, even after the Oklahoma City Thunder lost Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.

SGA went from -145 to +125 after failing to seal the deal. Victor Wembanyama’s chances increased with the win, as did Jalen Brunson’s — they’re both at +270 now.

Let’s take a look at the latest NBA Championship odds to win the 2026 Finals MVP.

    ⭐ NBA Finals MVP favorites

    Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (+125)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder looked listless in a 118-91 Game 6 loss. SGA scored just 15 points and moved from -145 to +125 to win this award.

Nevertheless, he’s the straw that stirs the drink in OKC, and is the most likely candidate to grab this award if the Thunder seal the deal tonight.

    Victor Wembanyama (+270)

Victor Wembanyama’s Finals MVP odds fell to +650 after his lowest-scoring output in the Western Conference Final pushed the Spurs to the brink of elimination.

Now Wemby is back in contention at +270 after scoring 28 points in a must-win Game 6.

    Jalen Brunson (+270)

Even with a quiet 15-point night in a 37-point Game 4 win, Jalen Brunson still averaged 25.5 ppg in the Eastern Conference Finals, along with 7.8 assists per game.

Brunson shot just 18.2% from deep in that series, but the Thunder were the ninth-worst in the NBA during the regular season in 3-pointers allowed to point guards per game.

If Brunson gets dialed in from deep, the NBA Finals MVP Award could be his to lose.

    👑 NBA Finals MVP prediction

    Bet Odds Bet Date Units
    Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander +130 April 10 1.0

Gilgeous-Alexander is poised to repeat as Finals MVP because he is the definitive engine of an Oklahoma City dynasty in the making. Fresh off a dominant 2025 title run where he averaged over 30 points per game, SGA has elevated his game to an even more efficient level in 2026.

As the league’s leading MVP candidate, he boasts the highest usage rate on the NBA’s winningest team. His unmatched ability to manipulate defenses and deliver in clutch moments makes him the clear favorite to secure back-to-back Bill Russell trophies this June.
