Boxing superstar Ryan Garcia has shared his thoughts on the upcoming UFC White House card.
MMA’s premier promotion will host a show at President Donald Trump‘s official residence on June 14, 2026.
Jon Jones has been begging Dana White to let him headline the once-in-a-lifetime event for months.
The UFC CEO has publicly said he’d prefer to have Conor McGregor because he’s more reliable than ‘Bones’, who recently reneged on a $30 million deal to face Tom Aspinall.

Ryan Garcia supports Jon Jones
Ryan Garcia disagrees with Dana White about the reliability of two of the biggest UFC stars.
The 27-year-old doubts Conor McGregor would turn up after more than four years on the sidelines.
‘Notorious’ hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021. The former dual-weight champion has been fully fit for years, but for one reason or another, he’s failed to make his eagerly anticipated comeback.
“I love Jon,” Garcia told Covers.com.
“He just reminds me of myself in a way, very talented and just an animal in everything he does.
“I think I would say Jon is more reliable, for sure. He’s had the most recent fight, I believe.
“I don’t see why Jon wouldn’t. I think Jon just wants the money, right? And he’s tired of being paid peanuts. Gotta respect it, he’s probably the greatest UFC fighter of all time, so he needs to get paid, right?
“So, I would say Jon is a more reliable guy.”

Ryan Garcia’s next fight
Ryan Garcia hasn’t fought since being outpointed by Rolly Romero in May.
Still, he’s managed to bag himself a shot at WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
Garcia is set to face Manny Pacquiao’s last opponent on February 21 at a to-be-confirmed location.
“As promised the announcement of my next fight!” Garcia wrote on Instagram last week.
“I will be fighting for the 147 pound championship WBC.
“Just wait and see the MAGIC 🪄 @wbcboxing @wbcmoro
“MARIO BARRIOS IM COMING FOR YOU.”
