Week 17 of the 2025 NFL season has a lot of good matchups on tap for DFS purposes. Specifically, stacking, as there are several games on Sunday’s early and later afternoon slates with high point totals and productive offenses on either sideline.

Games with playoff stakes include Seattle vs. Carolina, Jacksonville vs. Indianapolis, and Philadelphia vs. Buffalo. Key matchups to monitor in DFS include the Panthers vs. Seahawks, Cardinals vs. Bengals, Jaguars vs. Colts, Eagles vs. Bills, Buccaneers vs. Dolphins, and Patriots vs. Jets.

We’re going to focus on three of these games and analyze the best DFS stacks to construct during NFL Week 17 contests on DraftKings and FanDuel. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more NFL analysis and free picks.

    NFL Prop Bet Cheat Sheet

NFL DFS Week 17: Best DFS Stacks

    DraftKings Salary: $50,000 | FanDuel Salary: $60,000

    Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts

Player (Position) Team DK $ FD $
Trevor Lawrence (QB) Jacksonville Jaguars $6,100 $8,000
Jakobi Meyers (WR) Jacksonville Jaguars $5,300 $6,800
Brenton Strange (TE) Jacksonville Jaguars $4,000 $5,600
Philip Rivers (QB) Indianapolis Colts $4,700 $6,300
Alec Pierce (WR) Indianapolis Colts $4,700 $5,800

Jacksonville is one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. The Jaguars throttled the Colts at home a few weeks ago and now go on the road to Lucas Oil Stadium in an attempt to potentially clinch the AFC South division.

We’re going to pair Trevor Lawrence with two of his favorite targets, Jakobi Meyers and Brenton Strange. Meyers has been a fantastic fit in the Jaguars’ offense since being traded from the Raiders. He has a 25 percent target share across his last three games, converting those looks into double-digit fantasy points in two of three outings.

Strange has been a red-zone hound for Lawrence. The Jaguars’ TE1 has 6-7 targets in two of his last three starts. He’s scored a touchdown in two of his last four games, while going over 10 fantasy points in five starts this season.

Alec Pierce likely won’t score two touchdowns as he did against San Francisco last week. However, veteran QB Philip Rivers has built a quick rapport with the Colts’ wideout, despite only five total targets.

Pierce has home-run potential on every play, so at the same cheap rate as Rivers, they are worth stacking against the Jaguars’ 21st-ranked pass defense.

    Arizona Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Player (Position) Team DK $ FD $
Joe Burrow (QB) Cincinnati Bengals $6,500 $8,700
Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals $6,300 $7,500
Chase Brown (RB) Cincinnati Bengals $7,400 $8,000
Jacoby Brissett (QB) Arizona Cardinals $5,700 $7,600
Michael Carter (RB) Arizona Cardinals $5,200 $6,500

The Bengals and Cardinals have the highest point total in Week 17 at 53.5. Neither team is contending for a playoff seed, so expect plenty of fireworks from both offenses.

Cincinnati showed its ceiling with an explosive 40-point performance against Miami on the road last week. Burrow wants to finish the season strong, so expect him to find WR2 Tee Higgins for a couple of big-time plays downfield, as he turned three targets into 3-53-1 against the Dolphins last week.

Bengals RB1 Chase Brown just recorded three touchdowns for a season-high 32.9 fantasy points. He has not gone under 16 fantasy points since Week 7, which makes him worth the elevated salary against the league’s third-worst run defense. Brown has caught three to seven targets in every game since Burrow’s return, making him a priority stack with Burrow.

Jacoby Brissett has been a fantasy goldmine. The Cardinals’ QB1 has been in a negative game script, chasing points and airing the football out to a plethora of different targets. Brissett just logged a season-low 11.6 fantasy points against Atlanta in Week 16. Expect a bounce-back against the Bengals’ 27th-ranked pass defense.

We’ll wrap up this game by plugging in Arizona’s RB1, Michael Carter. He’s handled double-digit carries in back-to-back games, while handling a hefty target share, recording three or more receptions in four of his last six starts. Cincinnati is a bottom-tier run defense, so let’s plug Carter in at a discount.

    Philadelphia Eagles vs. Buffalo Bills

Player (Position) Team DK $ FD $
James Cook III (RB) Buffalo Bills $8,000 $9,000
Josh Allen (QB) Buffalo Bills $7,000 $8,800
Khalil Shakir (WR) Buffalo Bills $5,100 $5,700
Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles $4,300 $5,700
Tank Bigsby (RB) Philadelphia Eagles $4,600 $5,200

Buffalo and Philadelphia have both punched their playoff ticket. However, these teams can improve their seeding by winning Sunday’s game at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

The Bills are 1.5-point favorites with a 44.5-point total. They haven’t been able to stop the run in most games this season, while the secondary has been the bright spot for head coach Sean McDermott.

Instead of paying up for Saquon Barkley, who has endured a lot of pedestrian finishes in fantasy during 2025, we’ll opt for the RB2, Tank Bigsby. We’ve seen Bigsby used in goal-to-go scenarios. Factor in the Eagles wanting to avoid injuries to Barkley and Jalen Hurts ahead of the playoffs, and it becomes an even better play to plug in Bigsby at a cheap rate in a plus matchup.

Dallas Goedert has been a touchdown machine for Philadelphia lately. Goedert has 12.2 to 25 fantasy points in three straight games. The first matchup delivered 15.8 fantasy points without a touchdown score, while he’s found the end zone three times against Las Vegas and Washington. Expect more red zone production for the Eagles’ TE1 to counter this difficult matchup.

We’re going to pay up for an explosive Bills stack featuring James Cook, Josh Allen, and Khalil Shakir. Allen’s dual-threat ability makes him a fantasy asset, while Cook is enjoying a career season as the workhorse in Buffalo’s backfield. Allen and Cook are both capable of scoring against the Eagles’ bottom-eight run defense.

Khalil Shakir has been Allen’s favorite target in a run-centric Bills offense. Shakir has a tough matchup against a top-10 Eagles pass defense. However, he’s logged five targets in back-to-back games, turning those into at least four receptions and 34 receiving yards.

Shakir isn’t expensive due to a lack of touchdown production. He’s still garnering a 17.3 percent target share to lead Buffalo pass-catchers, so let’s stack Shakir with Allen and Cook to account for all of the Bills’ most reliable playmakers as the cheapest commodity amongst these three players.
